Offline Resources

Animal Bonds, away from the screen.

Not every maths minute has to be a screen minute. From the same dashboard where you track progress, you can print a full number-bond game pack and targeted practice worksheets, all generated from the exact bonds your children are working on in the game.

One button in the dashboard

Everything on this page comes from a single Offline Resources screen. Teachers and admins reach it from any class in the Curious Prism dashboard at app.curiousprism.co.uk; parents get the game pack from their own dashboard too.

There is nothing to download and nothing to install. Each resource opens a print-ready page in your browser, so you can send it straight to a printer or save it as a PDF. Because the pages are built from the game’s real number-bond data and real animal artwork, the printed pack always matches the app, and updates when the game does.

The offline game pack

Five printable pieces that turn the game into a physical activity for the classroom or the kitchen table. The card deck and tokens follow the biome you choose; the board, rules and boxes complete the set.

Question card deck

Per biome

A double-sided deck of number-bond flashcards for the biome you pick. The question prints on the front, the answer on the back, so children can self-check exactly as they do in the game. Each card carries the biome colour and its fastest animal badge. Choose the Full deck (every bond in the biome) or Core facts (a curated, one-print set of the facts that matter most).

Card box and lid

Per biome

A cut-fold-glue box with a slide-over lid, sized so the printed cards stand upright inside and a thumb notch lets a child draw the top card. Each biome gets its own box, coloured and branded with that level’s animal, the level name and the Animal Bonds paw. Draw a card, answer, flip to check: the game’s self-checking loop, in your hand.

The Chase board

One for all biomes

A full-page board game: a looping migration track of numbered spaces with waterhole checkpoints and a space in the middle for the card box. Answer a card correctly and quickly to move forward while your animal chases you round the track. One board works with every biome’s deck.

Punch-out tokens

One for all biomes

One sheet of cut-out tokens: coloured runner paws for up to four players, plus chaser tokens for every animal, four of each, so whichever animal is chasing, there are always enough. One sheet covers all four biomes.

How-to-play sheets

One for all biomes

A branded rules booklet: the full rules for The Chase, plus three quick same-deck mini-games — "Move like the animal", "One-minute sprint" and "Run and fetch" — so a single printed deck stretches to a whole session of different activities.

For teachers

Worksheets that already know where each child is stuck

The same diagnostic data that powers the dashboard also builds your paper practice. No more one-size-fits-all photocopies.

One per child, targeted

A personalised "My tricky number bonds" sheet for each pupil, headed with their game name, avatar and current level. The questions are drawn from that child’s weakest bonds — the red and orange cells on their Bond Brainbow and the facts the engine has flagged as misconceptions. Children with little data yet are topped up with general practice, and the class list shows you exactly which is which.

Student sheets never show the answers. A separate teacher answer key prints at the end of the job, one per child.

One for the whole class

A clean, name-free "Number bonds practice" sheet for a level you choose, with blank name and date lines. Pick how many copies you need — or hit "Whole class" — and set the number of questions.

You get that many identical question sheets, plus exactly one teacher answer sheet at the end. Ideal for a quick starter, a cover lesson or homework.

For admins

Parent letters that do the onboarding for you

From the admin dashboard, print a one-page letter for every parent — co-branded with Animal Bonds and Curious Prism, and signed by whoever you choose (class teacher, headteacher, maths lead, or a name you type in).

Each letter explains the game, and carries the child’s own game login as a backup slip alongside the parent’s sign-in for the Curious Prism parent portal, so a family can be set up and following progress from one sheet of paper. No emails to collect, no links to chase.

A game night, not more screen time

Parents can print the same game pack from their own dashboard and turn number-bond practice into a game night at the table. Same bonds, same animals, no screen required.

It all comes with the game.

The offline pack, the targeted worksheets and the parent letters are part of Animal Bonds, at no extra cost. Join the free pilot and print your first set this week.
